The Elden Ring update version 1.05 is available on all supported platforms and includes significant balance adjustments for strength builds and magic users. In addition, new quest events have been added for the FromSoft in-joke NPC Patches.

  • Increased the range of the “Glintstone Pebble” and “Glintstone Dart” projectiles from Ash of War while reducing their damage and ability to stagger the target.
  • The “Bloodhound Step” ability for Ash of War has shortened its travel distance and invincibility frames.
  • Reduced the amount of time between activations required to use the “Quick Step” skill in rapid succession, enhancing the ability of the skill to circle enemies while locked on.
  • Greater travel distance when operating with a lighter equipment load.
  • Reduced the damage done by the blood attack and the amount of bleeding that builds up when using the weapon skill “Corpse Piler.” However, if the blade strikes you, the damage you take is only marginally reduced.
  • The magic known as “Stars of Ruin’s” power to track a target has been weakened.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a problem that prevented some strikes from the “Lucerne” skill from penetrating the adversary’s guard.
  • It was discovered that a problem made it more difficult for a two-handed leap attack with “Bloodhound’s Fang” to break an opponent’s stance. This issue has been fixed.
  • It was discovered that utilizing the “Parry” talent while wielding a dagger would cause the effect of “Determination” and “Royal Knight’s Resolve” to be removed. This issue has been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented extra effects from Spells, Weapon Skills, and Items from being applied properly while dual wielding an Axe and a Greataxe.
  • Fixed an issue that occurred while wielding a Halberd with two hands, making it more difficult to survive an opponent’s attack after employing a guard counter.
  • A glitch allowed the physical attack affinity of certain weapons to be different from what was indicated in the description of those weapons. This has been fixed.

  • While wearing the “Deathbed Dress,” a glitch allowed charge attacks with flails to damage friendly characters. This has been fixed.

  • A problem caused the effect applied to the weapon by using “Mists of Slumber” to be lost if the player received an assault. This has been fixed.

  • Fixed an issue that prohibited players from utilizing the follow-up attack associated with the “The Queen’s Black Flame” talent when they performed that skill without having good FP.

  • There was a glitch that, when certain weapon skills were used with the left hand, would trigger the effect of spells and items added to right-hand weaponry. This has been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue that made the FP consumption description of some weapon skills vary from the actual FP cost of using such abilities.
  • A problem caused “Rock Blaster” to waste no FP when it was used with staff in the left hand and nothing in the right hand. This has been fixed.
  • A glitch allowed the charged version of the “Black Flame Ritual” to expend the same amount of stamina as the standard version of the ability. This has been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue that triggered the effect of “Malenia’s Great Rune,” led the player to obtain a lower HP recovery from incantations and items other than the “Flask of Crimson Tears.”
